With over 20 years of manufacturing expertise, Shanghai Crowns Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd. presents the CQ series magnetic drive pump (referred to as magnetic pump), a new type of centrifugal pump that applies the working principle of permanent magnet couplings. Absorbing advanced technologies, materials, and processes from domestic and international horizontal magnetic pump production, this pump successfully solves the technical challenges of easy damage to components like isolation sleeves and impellers in domestic magnetic pumps, achieving more refined performance. It features rational design, advanced craftsmanship, full sealing, no leakage, and corrosion resistance.
Application Range
• Widely used in chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, petroleum industry, electroplating, food processing, film and photography developing, research institutions, and national defense industry, etc.
• Suitable for pumping acids, alkalis, oils, rare and precious liquids, toxic liquids, volatile liquids, as well as supporting circulating water equipment and filters.
• It is particularly ideal for pumping flammable and explosive liquids when this horizontal magnetic pump is selected.
Features
• Excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring the conveyed medium is free from contamination.
• Manufactured with corrosion-resistant, high-strength engineering plastics, corundum ceramics, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Replaces dynamic seals with static seals, keeping the pump's flow-through components in a fully sealed state, completely eliminating the issues of leakage, seepage, and dripping that are unavoidable with mechanical seals in other pumps.
Usage Instructions
• The magnetic drive pump should be installed horizontally, not vertically. The plastic pump body must not bear the weight of the pipeline. For special occasions requiring vertical installation, the motor must face upward.
• When the suction liquid level is higher than the pump axis, simply open the suction pipe valve before starting the magnetic pump. If the suction liquid level is lower than the pump axis, the pipeline must be equipped with a foot valve.
• Before use, inspect the magnetic drive pump: the motor fan should rotate flexibly without jamming or abnormal noise, and all fasteners should be tight.
• Check whether the motor rotation direction is consistent with the magnetic pump's rotation mark.
• After starting the motor of the magnetic drive pump, slowly open the discharge valve. Once the pump enters normal working condition, adjust the discharge valve to the required opening.
• Before stopping the magnetic drive pump, close the discharge valve first, then close the suction pipe valve.
Precautions
• Since the cooling and lubrication of the magnetic pump's bearings rely on the conveyed medium, dry running is strictly prohibited. Also, avoid idle running caused by restarting after a power outage during operation.
• If the conveyed medium contains solid particles, a filter screen must be installed at the inlet of the magnetic drive pump; if it contains ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter is required.
• During use, the ambient temperature of the magnetic drive pump should be below 40℃, and the motor temperature rise must not exceed 75℃.
• The conveyed medium and its temperature must be within the allowable range of the pump materials. The operating temperature of engineering plastic pumps is <60℃, and that of metal pumps is <100℃.
• It is suitable for conveying liquids with an inlet pressure not exceeding 0.2MPa, a maximum working pressure of 1.6MPa, a density not exceeding 1600kg/m³, a viscosity not exceeding 30×10⁻⁶m²/s, and containing no hard particles or fibers.
• For media that are prone to precipitation and crystallization, the magnetic drive pump should be cleaned promptly after use to drain all residual liquid inside.
• After the magnetic drive pump has been in operation for 100 hours, inspect the wear of bearings and end face moving rings, and replace worn parts that are no longer usable.
