A complete set of large-size horizontal split-case centrifugal pumps and supporting stainless steel valves has been fully inspected and shipped for a municipal water supply project in Southeast Asia. The equipment will serve as the core pumping unit for raw water transportation and pipeline circulation at the local water plant, supporting long-term and stable water delivery operation. The original pumping station equipment on site has been in service for many years, featuring high energy consumption, obvious vibration and frequent maintenance problems. Spare parts replacement was also time-consuming and costly. To improve operational efficiency and reduce daily maintenance pressure, the project team decided to upgrade the entire fluid system with new high-stability centrifugal pumps and matching pipeline valves. The main equipment supplied for this project is the KQSN600-M27-485 horizontal double suction split-case pump. With a DN600 large-diameter inlet and outlet, the pump provides a stable flow rate of 3200m³/h and a head of 27 meters under rated working conditions. Thanks to the split-case structure, onsite inspection and maintenance can be carried out without removing connecting pipelines, greatly improving construction and maintenance efficiency for continuous-duty water stations. The project package also includes full sets of supporting stainless steel valves. A DN600 PN10 CF8 gate valve without actuator and bypass and a DN600 PN16 CF8 swing check valve were adopted for the pipeline system. All valve bodies are made of cast stainless steel, providing reliable corrosion resistance and tight sealing performance for long-cycle water delivery environments.During the technical confirmation stage, the engineering team optimized the impeller cutting solution and calculated the NPSH parameters strictly according to actual working conditions, ensuring the pump unit can maintain high-efficiency operation under fluctuating flow conditions and effectively reduce overall power consumption. All valves have passed standard pressure and sealing tests to match the piping installation standards of the overseas project. After container shipment, the equipment is expected to arrive at the destination port within about 45 days. The technical team will provide remote installation guidance and commissioning support to ensure smooth water trial operation and formal handover. In recent years, complete sets of domestically manufactured split-case centrifugal pumps and supporting valve products have been widely recognized in overseas municipal water and industrial circulating water projects. More overseas clients tend to choose integrated pump and valve packages for better compatibility, stable after-sales service and convenient spare parts supply.
